The details:

  • 50% of your employee’s gross wage paid back to your business (up to a total of $28,000 per worker).

  • Available for new employees only (0-3 months with your business as a full time employee or 0-12 months for part time).

  • Employees must undertake a Certificate II or higher qualification.

  • No cap on the number of employees per business.

  • Workers receiving other wage subsidies (such as JobKeeper) are not eligible.

  • Available for Australian new starters commencing or recommencing between 5 October 2020 and 30 June 2022.

Both the BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management and the BSB30120 Certificate III in Business (Customer Engagement) are eligible training courses for this funding, with no restrictions on prior qualifications.
